I tend to stick with a lot of dark colors too but you can always add a bright accessory to make an outfit pop. It could be anything to a brightly colored bracelet, necklace, belt, purse, or shoes for that matter.

also, dark colors are slimming (and easy to coordinate) - you can add color/texture/patterns with accents and accessories
